Personal Alignment

As we practice the subtle art of disentangling ourselves from our emotional reactions and mind sets, we shift identity and connect to the in-the-moment flow of our own core presence.  When we do this we align ourselves with the way consciousness is supposed to work and move in synchronicity with the larger whole of which we are a part.  At the same time we learn how to draw into our lives what belongs and repel what doesn't. These simple but fundamental principles are encoded in the grail story and laid out in the powerful ancient symbol of the 'vesica piscis' .

" ... like having ten years of therapy in one day!"

"  ...  brilliantly wove the connections between ancient wisdom, intellectual understanding and the way I actually live."

The Role of the Feminine

Feminine leadership (which can mean men as well as women) is naturally aware of the dynamics of collective leadership.  Women know that each part is important, that their circle together creates a container to support change and healing.  Being is as much a goal as doing, and the heart perceives more accurately than the mind what the right direction is.  The great arc of feminine renaissance that began with the right to vote means the promise of the Grail wholeness is now emerging.

"...I think all of us felt a safety that allowed for some very deep sharing.  Her thorough knowledge of this topic, and all that it encompasses, made for a rich and meaningful gathering..."

" ... helps participants find their own Camelot and Grail."

- Glen Ivy, CA, Annual Women's Circle

Sword

Right Use of Power

Enlightened leaders grow leadership in others.  King Arthur represents the role of the leader and mentor who does not put him or herself at the center of things, but who both empowers and challenges others to grow.   His shadow persona in the stories is the Wounded Fisher King, who presides over a wasteland.  The Fisher King's wound relates to a sense of powerlessness and the wasteland is a reflection of this condition.   This symbolism is all about how powerlessness leads to abuse of power.  The key to restoring the wasteland - any ill condition - is to heal the wound of powerlessness that caused it by re-aligning identity in our core presence.

"I am still thinking through the questions about identity and myth that Diana Durham's presentation raised, for me and others, when I heard her speak two years ago."

- Art Kleiner, author, 'Who Really Matters'

Senior Editor, 'Business & Strategy' Magazine

Round Table

Collective Leadership

The symbol of the Round Table evokes the condition in which we collectively author new direction.  The knights sat around the table as peers with King Arthur. Leader and team had equal access to the center of the table.  Collective leadership has to do with trusting each person to bring their specific differentiation of the intelligence of the whole through their rank, roles and skillset.

"The ideas in Diana's book are very powerful,  and her work has been very well received. Diana effectively conveys material that is fundamental in our culture and our individual lives.  When she presents the material, people become very engaged at a deep level.  Her presentation is well worth attending."

- Dr. Steven P. Ober,  Executive Consultant

"I really appreciated Diana's remarks and presence at our Leadership for Collective Intelligence session, and find myself intrigued by the King Arthur story."

- Peter Hill, Canada Office of Critical Infrastructure
